Serving the Fort Wayne community on the Legacy Joint Funding Committee for the past two years has been an absolute honor because we shape the future of Fort Wayne through responsible stewardship of Legacy funds. I'm also proud to serve Neighborhood Health as its Director of Education where I get to invest in staff, through education and engagement, daily. By empowering colleagues, Neighborhood Health is able to provide the best quality of care to our patients.
While I abstained from voting to support this project due to a clear conflict of interest with my employer, I believe this project is a transformative redevelopment project that will provide a great deal of good to the greater Fort Wayne community. Healthy citizens are a legacy worth leaving.
