GET INVOLVED

There are multiple ways to get involved in the community.

WAYS TO HELP

There isn't a non-profit or church/faith-based organization

that would turn away volunteers.

Determine your passion, find an organization that fits it, and contact them.

It's that simple!

  • Melissa is passionate about food insecurity and has made it her personal mission to educate others about food insecurity.

  • Melissa is passionate about reducing health disparities, so she sits on the Advisory Committee for the Children's Health Collaborative

  • Melissa is an advocate for housing supports and is on the Planning Council Steering Committee for homelessness.

  • Civic engagement is important to Melissa, so she serves on the Fort Wayne Legacy Joint Funding Committee.

  • Melissa supports arts and culture initiatives and is lending her voice to the development of an Arts Campus Commission with Arts United
