Putting My Experience
to Work

I am privileged to have an education and I never take it for granted. It has opened and closed many doors for me over the years. An education does not always guarantee economic freedom from hardship. I know what it is like to live and work on the economic margins. It feels awful. And, I have worked with many marginalized communities around the country who have felt the same.

I have always felt connected with those who struggle and that's why I am committed to serving people where they are at. We all have gifts and the onus is on us to share those gifts with others.

I am committed to using my time, talent, and treasure for others. Whether it is in the workplace, with my neighbor or when I volunteer, if I can support and empower others, I will do so.

We can all be social influencers in our own right. Change agents are necessary for a community to thrive. To expect more, we need to do more.
